Mission Statement

The MORE program at First Presbyterian Church, in Morehead City, NC, offers visiting guests the opportunity to hear, see, experience and share MORE about God through missions, outreach, relationships and education. Our missions include local opportunities for service projects in and around our community. The outreach directly affects our local people and ministries. The relationship building focuses primarily on our relationship with Christ but also includes team building and the development of relationships with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Our educational practices are biblically based and offer a practical way of enriching the lives of the participants and the community in which they serve. We emphasize the importance of environmental education and view it as a way of learning how to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us. Our relationship as Christians with all of God's creation is a primary focus of the MORE program. <>
